"All American Buddha" - Always Here

 What more could we ask

The day it is closing, the door to the past. To hold back all sorrow, and shadows there cast. The moment swings open, each moment brand new. What more could we ask of a moment to do?

 Ode to Jessie

Life on the river is Jessie's deed, fishin' for catfish is Jessie's need. He rides a rowboat to distant shore, than beats the catfish with a rowboat oar. Jessie's a champion in these here parts, dressed in his tee shirt, and fish smellin' shorts. Young hearts they flutter at Jessie's sight, rowin' his row boat both day and night. Life on the river, the king's still a man. Round here it’s Jessie, a catfish and pan.

 A lesson in fruits

The value of a fruit,
is not in it's size,
but in it's sweetness.

 Amazing huh ?

Amazing that a tree will grow, from out the fertile ground. Amazing that the earth so big, is spinning round and round. Amazing that the night will end, when morning comes the way. Amazing how the birds will fly, when kittens come to play. Amazing that the winter's day, is followed summers warm. Amazing how the cloudless skies, are left behind the storm. Amazing how a single word, can turn a travelers way. Amazing how a single fish, can turn the angler gay. Amazing are the many kids, with smiles upon their face. Amazing how they treat our sight, with brightness for the space. Amazing are those fields of wheat, where all do come to play. Amazing how the life we live, is in the words we say!

 Byron Myron Alouicious Burtrum

His name is Byron Myron Alouicious Burtrum king of the numbered wheel. Byron Burtrum the kid from Strathum, numbers was his meal. He's got a way to count the oceans, multiplied by motion, divided by the light in a year. The drops in a rain storm, the number of acorn, added to the number of deer. Then he put it all together, subtracts it from a feather, and says he's having fun. Every time he does it, no matter where he does it, the answer is always ...ONE!
