"All American Buddha" - Always Here

 Life is Truely a Beach

I had another dream and it went like this:

I was walking on a beach that laid alongside the water's edge to the end of my sight.
I began walking and in time, I bent down and picked a small shell.
I noticed that the shell had a phrase on it which said, "Twas a verse
of scripture but now I am dead"!
Hum, "interesting", I thought.
I dropped it and walked on.
A short time later among the other shells, I picked one up and I
noticed that this shell had a phrase on it too.
It said, "Twas a verse of scripture but now I am dead".
I picked up another and again, "Twas a verse of scripture but now I am dead".
I ran ahead picking up shell after shell and each was inscribed with
the same phrase,"Twas a verse of scripture but now I am dead".
Needless to say, at this point and in spite of the vast beautiful beach and the ocean to my side, I was a little bummed out by all of these inscriptions.
Than, from a distant part of the beach I saw what appeared to be something sparkling in the sun.
My pace sped up as I made my way up the beach to see what the sparkle was.
I passed by shell after shell on my way . The sparkle was still in the distance so I decided to check just one more shell while I rested.
It had an inscription and it to was inscribed with the phrase, "Twas a verse of scripture but now I am dead".
At that point, I decided that all the shells had that inscription and was reinvigorated by my desire to get to that sparkle thing.
Finally,I came upon the sparkle thing and I saw that it was a stone, clear and pretty and was reflecting the suns light to my eyes, even from that initial great distance.
I Picked the stone up and turned it in my palm, inspecting it's clarity and it's dancing prismatic colors.
Well, You can imagine my great surprise when a voice began coming from this beautiful stone.
Io me, it sounded like the voice of every kind person I have ever known, Mom Dad, Reuben, Charles at the news stand...The voice sounded like every one of them!
It said, "Hey Kid, how you doin'...good to see you again."
Now that got my attention.
Not only because the stone talked but because it said "Hey Kid" and I was over sixty.
"Yea, and you too" I responded.
With the sound of that voice, it was as if all of those kind people had walked up and said, "good to see you again".
"Wow" i thought to myself, this is one very cool stone.
It not only sparkles, It's kind and talks too!!!!
By this time I was feeling quite excited and I think the stone picked up on it and kinda gave out a neat little chuckle and said, "Relax and besides I've been waiting and you have questions".
I thought to myself,"well yea...duh...you'd have questions to" of course I didn't say it out loud but still the stone chuckled.
"Your right", I said, "Whats up with this beach and all the dead shells/scripture verses". To which the stone
replied,"wrong question"!
"OK" I thought,"what is the right question?"
Than I realized the stone was reading my thoughts for sure because it said, "The right question is, How you doin'?"
"OK, how are you doin'", I responded, to which I added, "But what makes that the right question"?
"Well, It's like this Kid", the stone began with a lil chuckle,"I'm doin just fine and glad you asked, I was a little concerned that you prefer dead things over bright sparkle things, that you'd prefer to
reading words on old shells over hangin' out with me."
"Oh I gotcha but ya gotta admit those shells do get you're attention" came to mind so I said it.
"Yea, they do that but they also slowed you up getting here didn't they?" the stone inquired.
"Ya see Kid", the stone continued, "there used to be scripture written on every shell and folks seldom got this far up the beach to me so I spent years and years placing the inscription you read, on each and every shell".
"WOW", I said, "That must have been hard, there sure are a lot of shells on this beach."
"Hard?" the stone reported, "It about killed me"!
And than that chuckle of kindness.
"I think you will admit, that I've got more going on here than any or all of those shells with or without verse....Look at me!!" the stone said and than lay in my hand quiet as I inspected and considered what was in my grasp.
Here's a stone that is kind, sparkles, emits colors,is clear and on top of that, reads my mind, talks, and not to forget, chuckles.
"You're right", I responded, "you do have a lot going on here, way more than any verse on any shell, for sure".
Finally, I asked the obvious, "Who or what are you"?
"First of all, I am a who and a shell is a what", the stone responded.
"OK than, Who are you", I continued.
"Well, I've been called a lot of things, like Gods Will, Jesus,The way,
Truth, Life, but what I really am is the Love YOU really are...It's all about the love Kid. When ya get that, you can throw all the old mind polution away"!
The stone stated kinda matter of factually, ending with, "You just kinda got distracted"!
With that, I had that strange feeling like when you're in a dream and you start to realize that you might be dreaming so I said to the stone, "Hey, I think i might be dreaming". To which the stone replied,
"You were Kid, but you'll never fall asleep again!"
"Hey Kid,You hungry"?
"Lets go grab a burger"!

the end

 Cartoons

It's been said that a picture is worth a thousand words and it's true.
So, to avoid a few thousand words, I've downloaded some drawings to my gallery for you guys to check out. There are some paintings there as well. My intention is to periodically delete those and download others.

 I'm A Daddy

There is a whole cloud of Cycloids in my tank,
must be about sixty or so,
the second batch this year,
every one of them a convict.
If ya don't have fish ya don't know,
That a single drop of oil in that tank will kill 'em all,
Mommies, Daddies, Babies, Brothers, Sisters...kill 'em all.
Oil's not good for living things,
In more ways than one!!

Smoke and mirrors,
Dogs and ponies,
I am sick of it,

What?
You think he didn't mean what he said?

LOVE THY NEIGHBOR AS THYSELF,
THERE-IN THE "ENTIRE LAW" IS FULFILLED,
BOTH GODS LAW A-N-D MANS LAW!!!

THATS IT BITA BANG BITA BOOM...JUST DO IT NOW!!

Take your kids on a picnic Sunday or your best friend to the creek
to look for cray fish.

Let those "OLD COVENANT FOLKS" to their "OLD COVENANT WAYS".

Let 'em chase their smoke and bow down to their dogs and ponies if that's what they want to do....You and me got some lovin' to do!
Who knows, They might "get it" and be free too!

Sick of it!
Sick of it!

 Cure for the Voids

Do you know what "The void" is?

It's an emptiness,
That has yet to realize that it doesn't exist,
That there is no emptiness when we love.

Don't concern yourself with who is loving you,

Rather concern yourself with who you are loveing,

The void needs you to love so it can fill up and go away.
It's the only cure for the Voids in town!
